Culture Programme Infoday on 30 May in Brussels

The Culture Programme Infoday will also provide you with information on the coming calls for proposals, as well as tips and practical advice on how to prepare proposals.
Main features of the 2011 Infoday:
- Coordinators of projects share their experiences and give practical advice on the preparation and submission of proposals
- Interactivity: remote participation via advanced live web transmission and chat, and online partner search tool

Results published for "Support to European cultural festivals" (strand 1.3.6 of the Culture Programme)
An unprecedented high number of applications (674 from 32 countries) were submitted by the application deadline 15 November 2010. A total of 26 applications were retained in line with the available budget.
The purpose of the strand is to support European cultural festivals with a view to encourage exchanges of experience through the mobility of European professionals in the cultural field; promote the circulation of cultural works by giving access to non-national European cultural works to the largest possible audience and promote intercultural dialogue.
Only festivals having held at least five editions on the date on which the application is submitted is eligible.
Moreover, works from at least seven countries taking part in the Culture Programme must be included in the programming. A grant of up to 100.000 EUR is available per project.

The submissions received during the public consultation launched in September 2010 on future EU funding for culture have been made available online via the European Commission's Culture website.
