European Young Journalist Award
The European Young Journalist Award, supported by the European Commission, DG
Enlargement, invites print and radio journalists from the 27 EU Member States, the candidate and potential candidate countries to send an article expressing their own vision and opinion about the European Union’s enlargement.
The Award is aimed at journalists, freelancers, interns and trainees between 17 and 35 years old, actively contributing to school or student media, newspapers, broadcasting companies. Entries should be published/ broadcasted up to 31 May 2009.
For both categories, national juries in each participating country will select one national winner. All national winners will be invited on an all paid trip and to a conference which will be held at the end of August 2009.
