Travelogue working sessions 2009

In a context where support to performing arts is mainly still organized on a national level and the need for a transnational production space is perceived as a primary urgency, SPACE (the European platform devoted to Supporting Performing Arts Circulation in Europe) has developed Travelogue, an online prototype meant to map the international mobility of the performing arts using Semantic Web / linked data technology.

The first working sessions of the project will take place on March 5th and 6th, 2009 in Brussels, in a location yet to be confirmed. Here will be discussed the strategic objectives and the work plan of the project and will be introduced linked data techniques about international touring, while exploring the possibilities for interested parties to link their datasets and exchange data about international touring in the performing arts.

Registration to the working sessions can be submitted by writing to Marijke De Moor, marijke@vti.be before 5th of February 2009.
