AEC Launch Event for EU Year of Creativity and Innovation 2009

With the conviction that the arts are one of the main agents of creativity and innovation, two largest representative European organisations for higher arts education AEC (European Association of Conservatoires) and ELIA (European League of Institutes of the Arts) are organizing an event that will launch the EU Year 2009 in an artistic manner.

This dynamic event took place in Hotel Bloom in Brussels on January 20th 2009, with contributions by prominent speakers and presentations by art students from various European countries. Speeches will be given by speakers as Jan Figel`, EU Commissioner and Katerina Batzeli, Chair of the European Parliament Culture Committee.
