European Atelier for Young Festival Managers at its second edition
During a very intense week, from 26 April to 3 May 2009, 45 emerging festival managers from all over the world will meet in the Bulgarian city of Varna to engage in discussions, working groups, lectures and face-to face encounters on what matters most in a festival: the work with the artists in an international environment.
Many are the outstanding presenters and mentors already confirmed for this second edition of the Atelier: Bernard Faivre d’Arcier (Paris/Avignon), Rose Fenton (London), Hugo De Greef (Brussels), Nele Hertling (Berlin), Robyn Archer (Australia), Jonathan Mills (Edinburgh), Joseph V. Melillo (New York), Tom Stromberg (Berlin/Hamburg), Mark Russel (New York), Tzvetelina Iossifova (Sofia), Gundega Laivina (Latvia) and Kristina Rady (Budapest/Paris).
The deadline for applicants is on 30 January 2009, so only two weeks are left to apply for this unique working space.
