Conference on Best Practice from EU Programmes – 2 & 3 March 2009

To welcome in the best way the new European Year and to demonstrate its own engagement in fostering creativity and innovation in its various fields, the Directorate-General for Education and Culture of the European Commission will host a conference and exhibition in Brussels on 2 and 3 March 2009. The events will take place at the Commission's Charlemagne building, where projects which have been funded by several EU programmes will be showcased.

Within this context the launch of EVE, an electronic platform aimed at facilitating the spread and exploitation of results arising from the programmes and initiatives of DG EAC, will also take place

The Conference will provide a platform for dialogue between policy makers and project promoters in the fields of education, training, entrepreneurship, culture, youth, citizenship, regional policy, etc. It should also examine the most appropriate ways to provide sustainability to the initiatives from the European Year of Creativity and Innovation 2009.

Participation at the Conference is free of charge, but travel and accommodation will be at the participants' expense.
